Updated 22 June: Information about deliveries and pick-ups during the Tour de France

22 June 2022

From Wednesday 29 June to 2 July, the Tour de France is in Denmark, which will undoubtedly cause delays to deliveries and collections of our customers’ goods in the affected areas.

The problems will mainly centre on the inner city of Copenhagen and Nørrebro and Østerbro. From Wednesday 29 June, the start and finish area around H.C. Andersens Boulevard and Rådhuspladsen will be gradually closed off, while the cycle route itself will be closed off entirely from Thursday 30 June 11.59 pm until Saturday 2 July 07.00 am. Please see the restricted area below. Already from Thursday 30 June, there will be a total ban on parking cars along the entire cycle route, and we will not be able to deliver goods in the cordoned off area on Friday, July 1st. This applies to both day, night and crane.

At the same time, we would like to point out that the lack of delivery day on Friday can result in large amount of goods waiting to be delivered. This means that there may be a risk of irregularities and delays on our deliveries on Mondays and Tuesdays in the following week.

Therefore, our customers need to be patient and stay informed on our Track & Trace. Of course, as always, we will do our best to maintain as normal an operation as possible.

If you have questions about the above, please contact your usual contact person at Danske Fragtmænd.
