Information on price adjustments as of 1 January 2021

For many Danish companies, 2020 has been a challenging year with operations and earnings being under extreme pressure. Danske Fragtmænd is no exception to this.

In this respect, we can mention e.g. the latest collective agreement regulation in March which was a harder blow to the industry than expected and which entails higher wage costs.

In addition to this, we experience a significant change in the composition of goods amongst our customers due to the corona crisis. This means that we have had to adapt our operations and pattern of transportation.

Finally, there is no escaping the fact that the green transition within the transport industry will be costly. The price of the CO2-friendly lorries powered by e.g. electricity and biogas, is up to more than three times as high as that of conventional diesel lorries. The increasing pressure felt from society and, not least, the government means that we must intensify green transitioning within Danske Fragtmænd. As a result of the above, we will adjust shipping prices by 3.9 percent as of 1 January 2021. We will also adjust some fees which will appear from our website.
