Danske Fragtmænd wants to go green

As a transport business, we are aware that our business has a major impact on the environment. This is why we work every day to reduce our CO2 emissions as much as possible so that we can take our share of responsibility for the green transition.

Although the primary focus of the debate is on trucks, we have to acknowledge that the technology for electric trucks and climate-friendly fuel is still not sufficiently developed. However, we are not put off by this. We continue to follow progress closely and are happy to participate in various projects to play our part in getting things moving. In 2021 we invested in four electric trucks for testing deliveries in Odense, Aarhus and Copenhagen. You can learn more about the project with our electic trucks here.

Until further progress is made on this technology and not least financially sustainable, we, at Danske Fragtmænd, focus on reducing our CO2 emissions wherever we are able. For example, we have decided that, in future, all our company cars must be electric or hybrid vehicles, and in addition, as of 1 January, we have started the transition to HVO diesel (biodiesel) in the inner city of Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen.

You can read about all this and more in the environmental policy of Danske Fragtmænd. Here, you will find a description of all the measures we take to attain our ambition to provide a CO2 neutral transport solution to our customers. Below you will also find Danske Fragtmænd's sustainability report for 2022, which also includes our climate accounts.
