A new system for delivery descriptions

As most of you are aware, we have been working for some time on developing a new system to facilitate the process of managing and saving our customers’ delivery descriptions. We are almost there and look forward to introducing you to the new system soon. Among other things, it will allow you to create and change your delivery descriptions yourself without the need to contact our customer service.
As a new feature, we have also implemented DAWA address validation to ensure that the recipient addresses entered are correct and follow the necessary formats and standards. We can minimise incorrect deliveries and delays with correct and accurate addresses, resulting in a more reliable and seamless delivery for our customers.
However, with DAWA validation, it is imperative that your customer database is accurate, as this is crucial for matching the consignment note with the correct delivery description. Without the correct information, we risk that the delivery does not fulfil the delivery description or we have to return the consignment to the freight terminal. An incorrect address can also ultimately result in us delivering to the wrong address. We are continuously converting and enriching existing delivery descriptions, so our drivers are already using the new system for many of our customers. Therefore, we want to emphasise the importance of data quality, so you may want to consider DAWA-validating your own data.
